On July 15, representatives from The Peter W. Busch Family Foundation and Southern Eagle Distributors met at Waldo’s Restaurant on Ocean Drive to donate an ATV (all terrain vehicle) to the Vero Beach Lifeguard Association (VBLA) and the city of Vero Beach.
“We have a great partnership with Waldo’s Restaurant Manager Lee Olsen, and he is really the one to thank. He reached out to me about the need of the lifeguards and we wanted to help,” said Philip Busch, President of Southern Eagle Distributors.
“The foundation believes in supporting initiatives that improve the community.”
VBLA President Erik Toomsoo said, “This donation will go a long way in helping us keep our beaches safe.”
The VBLA is currently raising funds to build a lifeguard tower and headquarters at Humiston Park. The nonprofit needs your help to finish the project.
