Philip Busch, President of Southern Eagle Distributing, the number one ranked Anheuser-Busch distributor has donated hundreds of cases of water to local non-profit organizations. The Red Cross, Treasure Coast Food Bank, Homeless Family Center and American Cancer Society are a few of the organizations receiving donations.
“Each of these non-profits play an important role in our community,” said Busch. “The water we donated will be distributed to local individuals and families who need it. We are very proud to support each of these great non-profits and the work they do.”
The water was brought into St. Lucie County in a partnership with Anheuser-Busch to help after hurricane Mathew. The partnership has served the local Treasure Coast area multiple times during past disasters. Fortunately, the hurricane stayed offshore and we avoided major damage. “It didn’t make sense to keep the water in the warehouse, when others could use it now,” added Busch.
Each of the organizations will distribute the water to the people they serve. If you know someone in need of canned water, contact one of the local non-profits and submit your request.
